The Handbook includes important information for competition hosts. There is a table of contents with hyperlinks to each section. The WSDDJA Requirements for Hosting a Competition, which were previously a separate document, can be found included in the Competition Handbook. 

Competition Scheduling

Each district meets to schedule its events by May 1.  Contact your District Rep if you are interested in hosting.

This document has suggestions and a sample registration for competitions.  Once your registration link has been created please email it to wsddca@gmail.com to be published on our website. Links will not be posted if your school is not a WSDDCA member.

Scorekeeping/Tally

Tally Training Guidelines - Please read carefully and make sure your tally person understands the entire document before competition day

Links to Tally Scorekeeping Excel Docs: We have found that the document loses some of the conditional formatting when imported into Google Sheets.  This does not affect the main functions, but please double check for tying scores or qualifying scores (when necessary) visually rather than relying on the automatic color coding as it is not reliable in Google Sheets.
